MR.DIY Brings FAMILYHAN Fun to Sinulog 2025 with Exciting Activities and Festivities

Festival-goers got their Sinulog essentials from the MR.DIY selling booths at Fuente Osmeña and Plaza Independencia– a staple of MR.DIY’s participation in the annual festivities.

MR.DIY once again made a colorful and exciting impact at the Sinulog Festival 2025, bringing joy and entertainment to festival-goers with its FAMILYHAN-themed activities. As a Bronze Sponsor of the event, MR.DIY embraced the festival’s theme, “One Beat, One Dance, One Vision,” in a celebration of Cebuano culture, community, and world-class talent.

One of the highlights of the celebration was the MR.DIY Sinulog Idol 2025, where Crizalina “Zal” Cabanas from Santander, Cebu emerged as the Season 16 Grand Champion. Her exceptional musical talent and heartfelt performance earned her the coveted title, proving once again that Cebu is home to incredible local artists.

In addition to honoring musical talent, MR.DIY also recognized beauty and grace through the MR.DIY Sinulog Queen 2025 competition. Nadine Faith McCoy of Talisay City, Cebu, captivated audiences with her elegance and charm, securing the 3rd Runner-Up spot in the prestigious pageant held on January 17.

Bringing the ultimate FAMILYHAN experience to the heart of Sinulog, MR.DIY hosted a series of interactive games and fun-filled activities during its Nightly Show at Fuente Osmeña. Festival-goers enthusiastically joined games like “The Price is Right: Walay Hangyo Edition” and “Find Your FAMILYHAN Favorites,” where participants got the chance to win their favorite MR.DIY products. The event was made even more exciting with a special performance by Cebuana music sensation, Karencitta, who brought high-energy entertainment to the crowd.

Lucky festival-goers at Fuente Osmeña won their FAMILYHAN favorites during MR.DIY’s Nightly Show, hosted by Mr. Onin Mas and DJ Inday Mari Thess.

Adding to the Sinulog festivities, MR.DIY made a grand appearance at the Sinulog Grand Parade on January 19with a beautifully designed float showcasing an MR.DIY store. The float symbolized how MR.DIY has become a go-to FAMILYHAN brand in Cebu and across the Philippines—offering variety, value, and convenience for every Filipino home. The float, adorned with vibrant flowers, embodied the spirit of unity and culture, perfectly aligning with the essence of Sinulog.

The MR.DIY float, featuring the brand’s beloved Panda mascot, was a crowd favorite for kids and families alike!

Festival-goers also had the chance to shop for their FAMILYHAN favorites with MR.DIY selling booths at Fuente Osmeña and Plaza Independencia. These booths became a shopping hotspot for families and friends looking for quality and affordable products while enjoying the festival.

As part of its Sinulog 2025 celebration, MR.DIY launched a special Mix and Match Promo in its Cebu City stores, giving customers the chance to score fantastic deals on a wide range of products. Shoppers who spent a minimum of P500 could participate in the Mix and Match game and win exciting prizes, making their festival experience even more rewarding.
