From Coffee Break to a New Ride: Quezon City Wins Big at SMDC

Alfredo Santiago III (second from right), the winner of a brand-new Suzuki Gixxer FI motorcycle at SM Development Corporation (SMDC) Malls’ ‘Drive to a Good Life’ Promo at SMDC Sun Mall in Valenzuela, with his wife and SMDC representatives.

Sun Mall What started as a casual coffee break turned into an unforgettable moment for Alfredo Santiago III when he won a brand-new Suzuki Gixxer FI motorcycle during SMDC Sun Mall’s “Shop, Dine, and Win: Drive to a Good Life” Christmas promo.

On December 14, while enjoying a coffee with his wife, Santiago noticed a raffle poster and decided to give it a shot. “I saw the poster, scanned the QR code, and uploaded my receipts from the past weeks,” he shared. “I thought, ‘If I’m lucky, then I’m lucky.’”

Little did he know that his spontaneous decision would lead to an incredible prize. “From buying a waffle and coffee to now owning a motorcycle—it’s unbelievable!” Santiago said.

The promo, which ran from September 1 to November 30, 2024, gave shoppers at participating SMDC Malls a chance to win a Suzuki Gixxer FI motorcycle or a Suzuki Dzire car.

Customers earned one raffle entry for every Php1,000 spent on shopping or dining, adding excitement to their mall visits. Santiago’s win highlights the joyful surprises that SMDC Malls bring to their loyal patrons, making the holiday season even more memorable.
