Fossil Brings Court Culture to Life in Manila

Friends of Fossil, media guests, and members of the Fossil team gather at the Fossil Fall 2026 Athletics Club at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex Tennis Hall.

Tennis became more than a sport as Fossil transformed the Tennis Hall of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex into a meeting place for movement, fashion, and watch design during the Fossil Athletics Club Event on September 15, 2026.

Built around the spirit of classic court culture, the Manila gathering introduced Fossil’s Fall 2026 collection through an experience that encouraged guests to get into the game rather than simply view the season’s newest pieces.

The day opened with a morning tennis clinic, allowing participants to learn techniques, practice their swings, and experience the energy of the court. Activities continued in the afternoon with the main program and friendly matches led by PHILTA Coach Roland Kraut.

Friends of the brand and members of the media competed in separate categories, adding a playful competitive element to the gathering. Gianluca Gardini and Genevive Luna emerged as winners in the Friends of the Brand division, while Jerome Sangalang and Jasmine Omay topped the Media category.

Philippine Sports Commission Commissioner Olivia “Bong” Coo was also among the notable personalities who joined the event.

Adding a regional dimension to the Manila gathering were executives and representatives from Fossil Group’s Asia-Pacific team. The delegation included Eliza Chong, Senior Director for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and Distributor Markets; Grace Cheng, Senior Manager for APAC Distributor Markets; Yoyo Lau, Marketing Manager for Integrated Marketing, APAC; Fanny Choi, Manager for APAC Distribution; Rex Wan, Assistant Visual Merchandising Manager, APAC; and Xinying Kong, Marketing Specialist for Singapore, Malaysia and Distributor Markets.

Beyond the matches, the Fossil Brand Room gave guests an opportunity to take a closer look at the Fall 2026 collection and the design influences behind the Athletics Club concept.

One of the season’s highlights is the Everett 27mm, a smaller interpretation of Fossil’s familiar Everett silhouette. Designed with an integrated stainless-steel case and bracelet, baguette stone indexes, sunray dial, and quartz three-hand movement, the watch combines sporting character with a more compact and stackable proportion.

Drawing inspiration from the curves and chrome details of vintage roadsters, the Everett 27mm brings a streamlined approach to the collection while retaining the recognizable character of the Everett family.

The presentation also featured the Everett Chronograph, which delivers a bolder interpretation of the line, and the Emerson, a 30mm three-hand watch distinguished by a stepped rounded-square case, sunray dial, and multi-link stainless-steel bracelet.

Together, the designs demonstrated how Fossil is translating athletic references into accessories intended to move easily between active and everyday settings. By combining tennis, community, and watchmaking in one experience, Fossil turned its Fall 2026 presentation into a lifestyle event where guests could see—and experience—the connection between sport and personal style.
