2GO Streamlines Logistics for Maritime Businesses at BEACON Expo

2GO hosting the BEACON Expo 2026 exhibitors and contractors event briefing

Around 300 maritime businesses preparing for BEACON Expo & Conference 2026 are set to receive integrated logistics and event support as 2GO takes on the role of official logistics partner for the major maritime industry gathering.

Ahead of the expo, 2GO hosted a briefing for exhibitors and contractors to familiarize participants with logistics procedures, venue requirements, booth protocols, permits, ingress and egress schedules, and other operational guidelines.

The briefing brought together representatives from the Maritime League of the Philippines, participating exhibitors and contractors, SMX Convention Center venue managers, media representatives, and 2GO logistics teams. The session was designed to improve coordination and help participants prepare their exhibits while minimizing potential operational delays.

Central to the arrangement is 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, a centralized permit and logistics facilitation system established through the partnership of 2GO Group, SMX Convention Center, Central Business Park, and SM Estates.

The system provides exhibitors and contractors with a single coordination point for several event-related requirements. Through the partnership, 2GO assists with permit applications, coordinates endorsements with SM Estates, processes necessary submissions with Central Business Park, and manages logistics requirements covering ingress, event operations, and pull-out.

The integrated setup is intended to reduce the administrative work traditionally handled separately by exhibitors and contractors while maintaining compliance with venue and estate regulations.

“By simplifying logistics and permit facilitation, we allow exhibitors to focus on what matters most: showcasing their products, engaging with customers, and contributing to industry development,” said Faye Alonzo, Business Unit Head of 2GO Forwarding.

“Through 2GO-SMX Events Logistics, we are providing a single point of coordination that streamlines processes and supports exhibitors from preparation through event completion,” she added.

Carrying the theme “Empowering Maritime Excellence: Advancing a Sustainable Blue Economy,” BEACON Expo 2026 is expected to bring together maritime industry leaders, suppliers, businesses, and regulatory partners.

With hundreds of participating companies expected to transport exhibit materials and equipment, efficient logistics will play an important role in the successful staging of the event. The centralized system also strengthens coordination among exhibitors, contractors, venue operators, estate administrators, and other stakeholders.

As preparations for BEACON Expo & Conference 2026 move forward, the partnership highlights the growing role of integrated logistics in supporting large-scale trade exhibitions and creating a more organized environment for businesses participating in the Philippine maritime sector.
