Where Care Becomes Confidence: A New Queen for a New Generation

For more than twenty years, Silka has stood beside Filipinas in their everyday journeys—quietly reinforcing the belief that true beauty begins with care. This year, that philosophy took center stage once more as Dana Alexa Cada of Oriental Mindoro was crowned Binibining Silka 2025, embodying the brand’s enduring message: Confidence Begins with Alaga.

Dana’s path to the crown was shaped by weeks of learning, self-discovery, and shared purpose. Chosen from a nationwide search that brought together women from different regions and stories, the finalists were guided to see beauty not as perfection, but as presence and authenticity. Training sessions focused on both inner and outer growth—from runway movement to thoughtful self-expression—preparing the candidates for a platform larger than the stage itself.

Beyond pageant preparation, the journey offered a deeper look into Silka’s values. The candidates visited the brand’s Plaridel manufacturing plant, witnessing firsthand how care and quality are built into every bar of soap. Moments of relaxation and wellness followed, reminding them that confidence is sustained through balance, rest, and self-kindness. A new online skincare challenge further amplified their voices, allowing each woman to share her personal routines and advocacies with a wider audience.

The coronation night at Market! Market! was the culmination of this shared journey. In the final question—asking how she wished to be remembered—Dana Alexa Cada spoke of inspiring others to care not only for the body, but also for the mind and soul. Her sincerity resonated deeply, earning her the crown, substantial prizes, and the honor of representing Silka for the year ahead.

More than a personal victory, Dana’s win carried a meaningful purpose. Through her reign, Silka pledged support to the Duyan Program of Project Red Ribbon, extending care to children living with HIV. Alongside her were Daniella Moustafa of Baguio City as First Runner-Up and Caitlin Martinez of Cebu, as well as special awardees who each shone in their own way.

As Binibining Silka 2025 begins, the crown stands as a reminder that when women are nurtured with care, confidence naturally follows—and shines far beyond the spotlight.
