TopBreed signs sponsorship deal with UPMBT anew

TopBreed, a dog food brand under Universal Robina Corporation (URC), has renewed its commitment to the University of the Philippines Men’s Basketball Team (UPMBT) by signing a fresh sponsorship agreement. The ceremony took place at UP Executive House on August 21, marking another chapter in the partnership that began in 202, with an initial collaboration dating back to 2018 via URC’s Robina Farms.

The new alliance for UAAP Season 87 was formalized by Vincent Henry Go, URC-AIG managing director, alongside Rafael Jose Ruiz of URC-AIG Supply Chain, nowheretogobutUP chairman Jed Eva, and Coach Christian Luanzon on behalf of head coach Goldwin Monteverde.

Go expressed pride in continuing support for UPMBT and emphasized shared values such as commitment and teamwork—qualities that have propelled TopBreed to become the top local dog food brand. He drew parallels between TopBreed’s pursuit of quality and the Fighting Maroons’ relentless spirit.

Atty. Agaton Uvero, manager of UPMBT, along with Bo Perasol from UP OASD Directorship extended their gratitude towards Vincent Go and his team for their unwavering support since their initial involvement.

The partnership transcends basketball; it also celebrates pets as beloved members of fans’ families by linking basketball aficionados with their Most Valuable Pals (MVPs). TopBreed aims to foster connections through this unique blend of sports enthusiasm and pet companionship while reinforcing values like unity both on the court and within communities.
