Explore Cagayan Valley’s Beauty and Bounty at the 18th Padday na Lima Trade Fair!

Explore the richness of Cagayan Valley’s natural resources at the 18th Padday na Lima Regional Trade Fair this September 10 – 16, 2024 at Festival Mall Alabang in Muntinlupa City. Showcasing a wide variety of goods from the region, the fair’s theme this year is “Unveiling the Richness of Cagayan Valley’s Lands and Seas, A Fusion of Beauty and Bounty”.  Visitors to the fair will be treated to a smorgasbord of the region’s products from its diverse agricultural and aquatic resources.

Aside from promoting products, tourism, and investment opportunities in the region, Padday na Lima has long been a seeding ground for the growth of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), optimizing their full potential for economic and social development. This year, the fair brings a hundred MSMEs and farmers with their wide array of products, from farm produce to processed foods, aquatic and fishery products, native delicacies, garden plants, to fashion and wearables, furniture, and handicrafts. Pavilions highlighting each province in the region – Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, and Nueva Vizcaya- will give visitors a feel for not just their products but avenues for tourism and other potential investment projects as well.

Providing supplementary promotion and marketing strategies for Region 2 farmers and MSMEs is at the heart of Padday na Lima. Part of this thrust is to bring together Region 2 producers and Manila-based consumers, in hopes of paving the way for sustainable and favorable partnerships. Padday na Lima is the ultimate destination for connection, commerce, and celebration without going through the arduous journey of travelling northwards to Cagayan Valley.

Padday na Lima, an Ybanag vernacular for “made by hands”, hopes to reach out and embrace fruitful unions with Manila-based advocates. Guests at the fair will be taken through a guided tour of the booths of Cagayan Valley MSMEs with a B2B matching activity for prospective endeavors between producers and consumers in Cagayan Valley and Manila. Other exciting activities at the fair will include food and wine tasting, a captivating fashion show, fun games, and a creative crafts demonstration.

But the fun will not only happen in the fair but on online platforms as well- through Mayani.ph and PaddayNaLima.com (through Deliver-E), interested consumers can easily access and purchase the finest products of Cagayan Valley with just a few clicks. Reliable and convenient, these platforms bring farm-fresh quality products straight to the consumer’s doorstep – no need to go to the fair!

This September, satisfy your wanderlust without leaving Manila and discover Cagayan Valley’s unique heritage and abundance of resources at the Padday na Lima regional trade fair. With all the wonderful things in store, you’d understand why Cagayan Valley is an extraordinary place you’ll want to call your very own.

See you there!
