The stars shone a little brighter ahead of the much-anticipated Sparkle Gala 2025, as BingoPlus and its philanthropic arm, BingoPlus Foundation, made a meaningful appearance at GMA Network’s exclusive pre-gala celebration on July 24. Held in an upscale Japanese restaurant in Manila, the event brought together entertainment leaders, Kapuso celebrities, and changemakers for a night of unity, style, and purpose.

More than a glamorous gathering, the evening underscored a shared commitment to uplifting communities. BingoPlus and BingoPlus Foundation donated ₱500,000 to the Kapuso Foundation, strengthening the network’s ongoing humanitarian efforts. The turnover was marked by a heartfelt toast led by Sparkle GMA Artist Center’s First Vice President Joy Romina C. Marcelo and BingoPlus Foundation Executive Director Angela Camins-Wieneke, who formally handed the donation certificate to Kapuso Foundation’s Executive Vice President and COO, Rikki Escudero-Catibog.

Now on its fourth year, the GMA Gala has evolved into more than a showcase of fashion and fame—it has become a platform for compassion, with proceeds channeled toward meaningful causes. This year’s main event will take place on August 2 at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Pasay City.

BingoPlus reaffirmed its commitment to advancing a digitally inclusive and resilient Philippines, noting that this collaboration with the Kapuso Foundation brings them one step closer to their vision. “We’re proud to support initiatives that multiply the good,” said Camins-Wieneke. “Our work doesn’t stop here.”

With hearts as bright as their lights, BingoPlus and GMA continue to prove that entertainment and empathy can go hand in hand.
