SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime) is strengthening its corporate hospitality offering as demand grows for its Premier Suites, following the July 9 trade launch. The positive response builds on the established success of premium suites at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.
Designed specifically for brands and corporations, the Premier Suites are available through a minimum one-year lease. Each 40-square-meter suite can accommodate up to 30 guests and combines comfort, privacy, and an excellent view of concerts, sporting events, and other live entertainment.
The suites feature lounge and theater-style seating, a private restroom, dedicated VIP access, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Corporate partners may also personalize their spaces with branded furnishings and installations, creating an environment suited for entertaining clients, rewarding employees, or strengthening relationships with business partners.
At the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, suite holders receive additional access to six multipurpose function rooms that can be used for meetings, presentations, corporate gatherings, and other business activities.
“Premium suites have become a popular feature at leading sports and entertainment venues worldwide because they elevate the live event experience,” said SM Prime President Jeffrey C. Lim. “They also give businesses a more engaging way to connect with clients, partners and employees.”
Private suites have become common features at major international venues such as Madison Square Garden, The O2 Arena, and Mercedes-Benz Arena Shanghai. In the Philippines, SM Prime introduced the concept at the SM Mall of Asia Arena when it opened in 2012, pioneering corporate hospitality suites in Southeast Asia.
Over the years, SM Prime has continued to improve the experience by providing advance event advisories, direct office ticket delivery, dedicated suite attendants, and customized food options from Premiere Café and accredited caterers.
Its suite holders include leading companies across telecommunications, banking, consumer goods, energy, entertainment, property, and other industries.
Meanwhile, early corporate partners at SM Seaside Cebu Arena include Bai Hotel, Cebu Landmasters Inc., Cokaliong Shipping Lines, Dynamic Power Marine & Industrial Hardware, Nature’s Spring, Skyrise Realty and Development Corp., and the University of Cebu.
The growing interest reflects how live entertainment venues are evolving beyond event spaces into destinations where companies can combine hospitality, business engagement, and entertainment in one premium setting.
