
Japanese technology brand Sharp Philippines officially introduced a new chapter in its journey as it unveiled its latest innovations during the “In Step With Your Future” Media Conference and Dealers’ Appreciation Night held on May 20, 2026 at Solaire Resort North.
The event served not only as a product showcase but also as a statement of the company’s renewed direction — one focused on creating meaningful technologies designed around the real needs of consumers. During the gathering, Sharp introduced its new corporate slogan, “In Step With Your Future,” replacing the long-running “Be Original.” campaign that had represented the brand for years.

According to Masahiro Akiyoshi, the new slogan reflects the company’s goal of looking beyond technology itself and understanding how innovation can improve everyday living.
He emphasized that Sharp aims to stay ahead of modern challenges by developing products that prioritize comfort, convenience, health, energy efficiency, and entertainment while remaining practical for Filipino households.

The event featured three major exhibition zones that represented Sharp’s product evolution — from today’s trusted appliances, to newly launched innovations, and future technologies that may soon reach the Philippine market.
The first exhibit highlighted Sharp’s existing premium lineup, showcasing televisions, refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, audio systems, air purifiers, and small home appliances. The display emphasized how the brand continues to improve home living through user-friendly functions, modern designs, and dependable performance.
Meanwhile, the second exhibition booth became the centerpiece of the event as Sharp officially launched several new products across multiple categories.

Leading the presentation was the expanded AQUOS television lineup. Sharp introduced upcoming 4K Google TVs equipped with HDR and Dolby Audio technologies. Among the most anticipated releases was the AQUOS JJ5000X Series available in 50-inch to 85-inch variants. The series features the elegantly crafted “SUIREN-粋錬-” metal stand, a V8 Revelation Processor, and a 120Hz high refresh mode optimized for gaming and entertainment.
This year also marks the 25th anniversary of AQUOS TV, making the return of Sharp’s large-screen category especially significant with the launch of its new 85-inch 4K Google TV.

Sharp also introduced the AQUOS QLED JL6500X Series featuring Deep Chroma QD technology for richer and more vibrant colors. For premium entertainment enthusiasts, the company showcased the AQUOS XLED QD Mini LED television powered by the X7 X-Revelation AI Processor. Designed for immersive viewing and gaming, the television supports up to 144Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, AI Karaoke, FreeSync Premium, and advanced gaming functions.
In the audio category, Sharp unveiled its retro-inspired CS-Series Speakers designed with premium MDF wooden cabinets for richer sound quality. The speakers combine classic aesthetics with modern entertainment features including Bluetooth connectivity, TWS pairing, karaoke functions, and multi-input support.

The company also introduced the TS-2010P-BK tower speaker system, capable of producing 26,000W PMPO sound output. Equipped with dual 8-inch woofers and X-BASS technology, the audio system is designed for home entertainment, music playback, movie viewing, and karaoke bonding sessions.
Sharp’s home appliance segment also received significant upgrades. Its new 2-door top mount refrigerators now feature larger Mega Freezer capacities and come in sizes ranging from 15.5 to 16.2 cubic feet. For laundry solutions, Sharp introduced new top-load washing machines in both inverter and non-inverter models. The 13kg and 17kg inverter variants feature Direct Drive Motor technology that delivers quieter operation, optimized washing performance, and improved efficiency. The units are also equipped with waterproof capacitive touch panels for enhanced durability and convenience.

Expanding its health and wellness lineup, Sharp unveiled the FX-S82 air purifier, designed for larger indoor spaces of up to 62 square meters. Available in black and gray variants, the purifier combines Purefit design with AIoT functionality for smarter air quality management.
The company’s air conditioning lineup also introduced advanced smart cooling solutions through the AH-XP10DHF series available in multiple horsepower variants. The units feature a market-leading 14-degree Celsius minimum temperature setting, Super Jet Mode capable of rapid cooling in just five minutes, and a fresh dry function that balances humidity and temperature for improved indoor comfort.

One of the standout innovations is Sharp’s AIoT technology, which allows users to remotely control and monitor air conditioning functions through a mobile application. The system can also learn user preferences over time, helping optimize cooling performance while improving energy efficiency.
The third exhibition zone offered guests a glimpse into Sharp’s future technologies and concept products that may eventually enter the Philippine market depending on consumer demand and market readiness. Many of these innovations were previously featured at international technology exhibitions such as CEATEC in Japan.
