PMA Holds First Metaverse Hybrid Conference

For its 52nd National Marketing Conference, the Philippine Marketing Association (PMA) mounted its first-ever Metaverse Hybrid Conference with the theme, “Ready Marketing One: Future-Ready Marketing Strategies for Tomorrow’s Business.”

The physical event was held at Dusit Thani Manila on November 8, and will be available in the Metaverse before end of the month.

“This is a great opportunity for marketing professionals to learn about the latest marketing practices and tech-driven solutions that will help them in their work. Our speakers will also share their experiences and insights about marketing in today’s climate,” said Sy Bryan D. Lato, PMA president.

The list of speakers for this year’s PMA National Marketing Conference included Josh Aquino, head of Public Relations and Communications, Microsoft Philippines;  Mark Del Rosario, founder and community director, Let’s Eat Pare, Classic Pare Titos and Titas of Manila; Donald Patrick Lim, acting president, Dito CME Holdings Corp.; Gladys Franco, social media and community lead, Canva Philippines; Kurt Molina, head of merchant products, BillEase; Jaime Paraso, regional VP for marketing, Mineski Global under TEG Group of Companies;  Ma. Luz Javier, president and COO, Avanza, Inc.; Germaine Reyes, CEO and president, Synergy Market Research- Strategic Consultancy; Manila Di Giovanni, CEO and founder, DWorld; and Badong Abesamis, founding partner, GIGIL The Ideas Company.

Jason Dela Rosa, founder, Bounce Back PH;  Nikko Lim, founder, Funko Funatic Philippines; Dr. Chris Monterola, professor, Aboitiz Chair in Data Science and head of Aboitiz School of Innovation, Technology and Entrepreneurship (ASITE), Asian Institute of Management; Courtney Sayson, co-founder, Gamer Girls Philippines;  Paul Soliman, chairman and CEO, BayaniChain; and Bryan Yap, CEO, Republiq Group of Companies also spoke during the conference.
