Lifelines Across Every Journey

A powerful alliance was sealed at Coast Guard Base Farola as Bell-Kenz Pharma and the Department of Transportation – Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation (DOTr-SAICT) came together with a shared mission: to save lives when every second counts.

Through a newly signed Memorandum of Understanding, both institutions committed to strengthening emergency preparedness across the country’s busiest transport corridors. The agreement was formalized by Dr. Luis Raymund Go, Medical Director of Bell-Kenz Pharma Inc.; Dr. James Cayetano, President of Bell-Kenz Foundation; and Commodore Oliver S. Tanseco, Commander of DOTr-SAICT and Inspector General of the Philippine Coast Guard. Representatives from the EDSA Busway Consortia, the Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX), and other partner agencies stood in support of the milestone initiative.

At the heart of the partnership is a shared belief: that lifesaving knowledge should not be limited to hospitals, but carried by those who serve on the frontlines of mobility—on land, at sea, and in the air. The collaboration paves the way for the nationwide rollout of the “Sagip CPR” Program, which will train transport personnel in Hands-Only CPR. From EDSA Busway terminals and PITX to airports, seaports, and maritime passenger hubs, responders will gain practical skills that can mean the difference between life and loss.

Dr. Go underscored the importance of empowering everyday heroes. He shared that expanding access to Hands-Only CPR training ensures that more Filipinos are prepared to respond confidently during emergencies. By embedding lifesaving skills within transport systems, the program transforms terminals and ports into safer spaces for millions of commuters.

More than a formal agreement, the partnership signals a united stand for public safety. Together, Bell-Kenz Pharma and DOTr-SAICT are building a culture where preparedness travels alongside every Filipino journey.
