ALABANG, MUNTINLUPA — February 19, 2026 — After almost a year since the construction began, the new and largest Kitchen City Commissary in Alabang, Parañaque is finally inaugurated today.

A new chapter in Philippine food service unfolds with the official launch of Kitchen City’s biggest commissary to date—marking a bold step toward strengthening the country’s food supply chain and expanding access to safe, high-quality meals.
Leading the milestone is Kitchen City President Ricardo Abelardo Jr., who emphasized that the facility reflects a long-term vision grounded in responsibility and opportunity.

He shared that building the largest commissary in the Philippines is part of the company’s commitment to delivering comprehensive food solutions while opening doors to new ventures, including entry into the fast-food market. More importantly, the expansion aims to improve efficiency across the food ecosystem and reinforce the promise of meals that are both safe and delicious.

Designed with scale and resilience in mind, the state-of-the-art facility can produce up to half a million meals daily. Its integrated cold chain system preserves freshness from preparation to delivery, while advanced wastewater management and renewable energy from solar panels support more sustainable operations.

Equipped with top-class machinery and modern technology, the commissary is built to maintain uninterrupted service even during natural calamities—ensuring that communities and partner institutions continue receiving reliable food support when it matters most.

Beyond large-scale meal production, the site also positions Kitchen City as a stronger player in the bakery sector, offering a premier environment for high-volume baking operations. Strategically located in Alabang, the commissary enables efficient distribution to Metro Manila, South Luzon, and North Luzon, allowing the company to support major events and institutional needs with speed and consistency.

As the doors open today, the new facility stands not only as an infrastructure achievement but as a symbol of how innovation, sustainability, and purpose can come together to nourish a growing nation.
