In March 2025, Honda Philippines, Inc. (HPI), the country’s leading motorcycle manufacturer, reignited its commitment to youth development through the relaunch of its CSR initiative, Honda Room, under the Honda You program.

This project, aimed at uplifting underprivileged youth, focuses on technical education in motorcycle and small engine servicing. In partnership with respected technical schools across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, HPI strategically selected locations where demand for skilled technicians is rising.

Honda Room serves as a fully equipped learning lab that not only delivers quality training but also opens doors to employment. Each term, around 25 students gain valuable skills aligned with Honda’s high standards for safety and service excellence, helping secure their future and support their families.

The relaunch began on March 18, 2025, at Don Bosco Training Center – San Jose, Nueva Ecija, catering to youth from farming communities. It continued on March 26 in Don Bosco Boys’ Home in Dumangas, Iloilo, offering shelter and education to at-risk youth. The final stop was March 28 at Don Bosco Training Center – Mati, Davao Oriental, where students are trained in job-ready skills for local industry.

Honda supported these schools with new motorcycles, complete tool sets, and a train-the-trainer program to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability.

Through this initiative, Honda reinforces its commitment to education, empowerment, and creating a self-sustaining, skilled workforce for the future.
