Access to justice should not be limited by financial circumstances or social standing. Recognizing the challenges many Filipinos face in seeking legal assistance, Globe has introduced Konek kay Attorney, a community-centered initiative that brings free legal consultations directly to individuals and families who need them most.
The program transforms the professional expertise of Globe’s legal team into a valuable community resource, demonstrating how corporate volunteerism can extend beyond traditional outreach activities.
Working alongside the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (IBP) Rizal-RSM Chapter, Globe provides qualified beneficiaries with free, one-on-one legal consultations. These include underserved residents endorsed by partner local government units and nongovernment organizations, as well as members of the Globe community.
The initiative has reached communities in Taguig, Mandaluyong, and Pasig, allowing residents to receive legal guidance within their own barangays.
For many beneficiaries, understanding legal rights and available remedies can be the first step toward resolving personal, family, or community concerns.

Atty. Marisalve Ciocson-Co, Globe Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Vice President for Legal and Compliance, emphasized that professional knowledge becomes more meaningful when shared with people facing difficult circumstances.
She explained that Konek kay Attorney aims to help individuals better understand their rights and legal options while giving Globe employees an opportunity to contribute their expertise to society.
Meanwhile, Atty. Eric Paul I. Fetalino, President of the IBP Rizal-RSM Chapter, highlighted the importance of collaboration between the legal profession and private organizations in making justice more accessible.
The initiative also received support from Supreme Court Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin S. Caguioa, Chairperson of the Unified Legal Aid Service Board, who delivered the keynote address during the program’s formal launch.
Justice Caguioa recognized Globe’s efforts to extend its mission of connecting people into another essential area of public service. He also joined representatives of Globe and the IBP during a ceremonial signing formalizing their partnership.
Beyond providing legal consultations, the gathering addressed another growing concern among Filipinos: digital safety.
A special discussion on online protection featured actress and advocate Angel Aquino, National Privacy Commission Deputy Commissioner Atty. Juan Paolo F. Fajardo, Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center Executive Director Atty. Renato “Aboy” Paraiso, and Globe Legal Counsel Joseph Malcontento.
The conversation explored emerging online threats, including deepfakes, privacy violations, and other digital risks. Participants gained insights into recognizing potential dangers, protecting personal information, and understanding their rights in an increasingly connected world.
Through its broader Globe of Good platform, the telecommunications company continues to encourage employees to contribute their professional abilities to meaningful social initiatives.
Konek kay Attorney illustrates how businesses can create lasting community impact by combining employee volunteerism, professional expertise, and institutional partnerships.
More importantly, the initiative reinforces a simple principle: meaningful connections are not measured only by technology and communication networks, but also by the opportunities they create for people to access essential services, protect their rights, and build more secure futures.
