Citicore’s Tan, Governor Mandanas meet for Taal Aid Turnover

Citicore President Oliver Tan met with Batangas Governor Hermilando ‘Dodo’ Mandanas in Batangas City on Friday as the company continues its efforts to bring aid to towns affected by the Taal Volcano Eruption.

Tan presented Governor Mandanas with a Certificate of Donation in a symbolic turnover of the renewable power company’s donations for the people of Batangas. Following the meeting, Citicore Foundation also turned-over several boxes of slippers to the Batangas Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM) Council through its Taal Volcano Eruption Donation Hub at the Batangas Provincial Sports Complex. Over 1,500 pairs of slippers were also given directly to evacuees in the towns of Calaca and Tuy.

During its 3 weeks of relief operations, Citicore distributed food, clothing, blankets, mats and slippers to the towns of Alitagtag, Balayan, Calaca and Tuy, and to the Batangas Provincial Government for distribution to the thousands of evacuees affected by the calamity.
