Chasing Dreams, Building Futures: Globe Empowers Students at #GoForIt Fest 2025

More than 250 young visionaries from across the Philippines gathered in Makati for the Globe #GoForIt Student Fest 2025—a vibrant youth summit designed to turn ambition into action. Held at the Power Mac Center Black Box Theatre, the event pulsed with the energy of student leaders aged 18 to 23, united by one goal: to go boldly after their dreams.

With the rallying call “Let’s go for that dream. Go for it,” Globe created a space where students could explore passions, build networks, and hear firsthand how others transformed setbacks into stepping stones. Backed by Globe’s commitment to technology, mentorship, and digital literacy, the event highlighted how innovation and connectivity empower young Filipinos to shape their futures.

Artist and tech influencer Mikael Daez talks about how he turned his passion to purpose at the #GoForIt Student Fest.

Globe #GoForIt Student Fest 2025 showed what happens when passion meets opportunity,” shared Roche Vandenberghe, Globe’s Chief Marketing Officer. “Through internships, mentorship, grants, and events, we help students step confidently into tomorrow.”

The day spotlighted three trailblazers, each echoing the journey from dream to reality across different academic tracks.

Student entrepreneur Soj Gamayon inspires students with his own innovation of using AI to build his business.

Singer-songwriter Zack Tabudlo spoke to Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) students, sharing how early rejections fueled his rise to become a celebrated artist in “From Rejection to Recognition.”

For Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM) students, entrepreneur Soj Gamayon revealed the story behind AgriConnect PH, an AI-powered platform transforming local agribusiness. From an idea to winning the Red Bull Basement World Finals in just 150 days, his talk, “Planting Hope and Harvesting Dreams,” showed the power of purpose-driven innovation.

Artist and tech content creator Mikael Daez inspired Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students through “Leveling Up in Life,” emphasizing how curiosity and connectivity helped him fuse creativity with digital impact.

Beyond talks, the event buzzed with interactive moments. At the Dream Booth, students recorded short pledges to their future selves, while Human Bingo encouraged them to discover shared goals and new friendships. At the Dream Wall, they pinned visions of what they hope to achieve. Globe also introduced the Globe Community Builders Program, offering real-world opportunities—volunteer work, internships, student grants, and ambassador roles—to keep dreams alive beyond the fest.

Through the #GoForIt Student Fest, Globe reaffirmed its mission: to not just connect young people digitally, but to empower them to learn, create, and lead with confidence in an ever-evolving world.
