MR.DIY Philippines continues to extend its commitment to communities in need as it returns to Negros for the second phase of its “Padayon sa Paglaum” initiative—an effort focused on supporting families as they recover and rebuild after recent natural calamities. More than a one-time outreach, the program reflects the company’s belief that meaningful recovery requires sustained presence and genuine care.
This latest phase centered on the distribution of essential supplies to affected communities in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental and Victorias City, Negros Occidental. A total of 1,500 kits were provided, including “Padayon” Relief Kits for families and “Paglaum” Student Kits for children, reaching over 800 households and 500 young beneficiaries. These kits were thoughtfully prepared to address both immediate needs and support children’s continued learning amid challenging circumstances.

For many residents, the initiative brought not only practical assistance but also a renewed sense of encouragement. Families gathered with gratitude as they received relief items, while children expressed joy upon receiving school supplies that allow them to continue their education with confidence. The presence of MR.DIY volunteers, along with the brand’s “PanDIY” mascot, added a sense of warmth and connection to the distribution activities.
According to MR.DIY Philippines Chief Executive Officer Roselle Andaya, the initiative goes beyond immediate response. She emphasized that returning to these communities is about helping ease ongoing challenges and supporting people as they move forward with strength and hope. This continued engagement highlights the company’s long-term approach to corporate social responsibility.

The program builds on the first phase launched in December 2025, which focused on providing free health services—including medical, dental, prenatal, and optical care—to more than 500 individuals in the same areas. By addressing both health and daily living needs, MR.DIY aims to support recovery in a more holistic and sustainable way.

Working closely with local government units and community partners, the initiative demonstrates the impact of collaboration in reaching those who need help the most. As Negros communities continue their journey toward recovery, MR.DIY’s “Padayon sa Paglaum” stands as a reminder that hope is sustained not just through aid, but through consistent support and compassion.
