Berde Renewables is lighting up Southeast Asia’s clean energy scene with a surge of growth, partnerships, and accolades that reaffirm its leadership in the renewable energy sector. The Philippine-based company, a portfolio firm of global infrastructure investment leader I Squared Capital, continues to strengthen its position as one of the region’s most dynamic forces in sustainable power development.
With iSquared’s $50 billion in assets under management as its foundation, Berde has rapidly expanded its renewable footprint. In the Philippines alone, the company has secured 47 MW of awarded projects, with 31 MW under construction and a robust 210 MW pipeline in progress. Across the region, its influence extends to Thailand through a strategic joint venture with Power Systems and Solutions Co. Ltd. to co-develop 300 MW of solar projects within the next three years.
This ambitious regional growth has earned Berde four major honors at the Solar Quarter Week PH 2025 Leadership Awards, including the prestigious Solar Company of the Year: Developer award. The recognition cements Berde’s standing as a trusted innovator in commercial, industrial, and institutional solar energy solutions.

Its landmark 8.4 MWp solar power purchase agreement (PPA) with KCC Malls and Biotech Farms in Mindanao, along with the award-winning joint venture with PSS Thailand, underscores Berde’s ability to deliver impactful, cost-efficient energy projects across borders.

The company’s operational excellence also shone internally, with its Commercial & Development Division earning the Best Sales Team of the Year award for its record 47 MWp of awarded capacity and dynamic business development efforts. Meanwhile, the Asset Operations Division took home Best Design Team of the Year, celebrating its engineering innovation and design precision.
Since its founding, Berde has generated over 500 local jobs and expanded its presence throughout Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, partnering with the Department of Energy (DOE), Board of Investments (BOI), and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) to advance inclusive energy development.
