Babae Ako Partylist Supports Parents’ Orientation on Preparing Nutritious Food for Children

SB Park was abuzz with the latest initiative: an orientation for parents on how to prepare nutritious food for their children. The event, aptly titled “Wastong Nutrisyon, Landas sa Masiglang Kinabukasan,” highlighted the crucial role of essential nutrients in promoting children’s well-being.

Babae Ako Partylist supports initiatives that aims to empower parents with knowledge and practical skills to make informed dietary choices for their children.

Understanding that a well-balanced diet is fundamental to a child’s growth, development, and overall health, the organization emphasizes the critical importance of nutritional education and resources for families Ms. Rossel “SHANTAL D.” Dimayuga, Babae Ako Partylist first nominee stated, “Proper nutrition is not just about providing food; it’s about ensuring that the food is rich in essential nutrients that support cognitive development, physical growth, and disease prevention.”

Headed by Nutritionist Paula Camille Caringal, the orientation brought together a diverse group of contributors including Day Care teachers, Health Centers staff, and Barangay Nutrition Scholars (BNS).

The session aimed to equip parents with practical knowledge and skills to enhance their children’s diets, ensuring they receive the nutrients necessary for their growth and development.

Through these initiatives, Babae Ako Partylist not only tackles immediate nutritional needs but also invests in long-term health outcomes. By emphasizing nutrition as a key element of children’s development, they help reduce the risk of malnutrition and associated health issues, paving the way for a healthier and more thriving community for the children.
