In the wake of Typhoon Uwan’s devastation, Globe is extending both connectivity and compassion to affected communities across Luzon. Guided by its Alagang Globe advocacy, the company swiftly mobilized its network teams, partners, and volunteers to help families rebuild, reconnect, and recover.
Restoring Connections, Rebuilding Lives
Globe’s technical teams worked tirelessly to bring communication lines back online, enabling residents to contact loved ones and access vital updates. In North Luzon, 100% network availability has been restored in Tarlac, Pampanga, Zambales, Apayao, Nueva Ecija, and Ilocos Norte. Meanwhile, in South Luzon, overall connectivity now stands at 82.82%, with full restoration already achieved in Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Albay, Romblon, and Marinduque.
Relief with Heart
Through Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) and Brigadang Ayala, Globe has brought relief packs and essentials to affected families in Rosario, Northern Samar and Sangay, Camarines Sur. In partnership with Rise Against Hunger Philippines (RAH), 600 food packs reached 200 displaced families in Ilocos Norte and Cagayan, with more assistance underway for other devastated communities.

Free Services, Strong Connections
To ensure uninterrupted communication, Globe has set up Libreng Tawag, Libreng Charging, and Libreng WiFi stations in key locations including Tarlac City, Aparri (Cagayan), Baguio City, Pili (Camarines Sur), and Daet (Camarines Norte). Open from November 10–13, these service points operate near evacuation centers to help residents contact loved ones and access emergency support.
Compassion in Action
True to its Alagang Globe spirit, the company is also offering free calls, texts, and data for Globe Prepaid and TM users, extended payment deadlines for postpaid customers, and free data allocations for Globe At Home Prepaid WiFi subscribers. Donation channels through Globe Rewards and GCash remain open to support relief partners like Rise Against Hunger Philippines.
As Luzon rebuilds, Globe stands firmly with every Filipino, proving once again that connectivity goes beyond signal—it’s about care, compassion, and community.
