When the sky fills with color, motion, and wonder, it can only mean one thing—the Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is back. Marking its 26th year, the country’s longest-running aviation sports event returns with renewed energy and an even grander vision as it settles into its new home at New Clark City from February 13 to 15, 2026.

Known as “A Weekend of Everything That Flies,” the three-day celebration transforms the horizon into a living canvas of aviation marvels. From sunrise ascents to thrilling aerial displays, festivalgoers can expect nonstop action featuring hot air balloons—both classic and special-shaped—alongside helicopters, paragliders, skydivers, radio-controlled aircraft, kites, and drones. It’s a rare gathering where every form of flight shares the same open sky, creating a spectacle that appeals to families, enthusiasts, and curious first-timers alike.

For PIHABF Event Director Capt. Iov Roa, the festival’s enduring magic lies in its authenticity. After more than two decades, the event continues to deliver a true airshow experience—one shaped by passion, precision, and a deep respect for aviation. This year’s edition pushes that legacy further with the festival’s largest-ever collection of special-shaped balloons: 22 imaginative and crowd-favorite designs flown by international pilots from Europe, North America, and South America.

The move to New Clark City marks a milestone in the fiesta’s evolution. Developed by the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA), the venue offers expansive open grounds and world-class facilities that elevate both comfort and accessibility. BCDA President and CEO Joshua M. Bingcang expressed pride in hosting the event, noting that the setting provides the perfect stage for an experience meant to be shared and remembered.
From its beginnings more than 25 years ago, PIHABF has grown into more than an airshow—it is a cultural celebration and a symbol of international camaraderie. Under the leadership of Capt. Joy Roa and a dedicated community of aviators, the festival has welcomed legendary aerobatic teams, global air rallies, breathtaking skydiving exhibitions, and creative collaborations that highlight Filipino artistry.
As the 26th edition takes flight, the message is clear: the sky is not the limit—it is the invitation. For updates and full activity schedules, visit www.philballoonfest.net.
