“What’s Your Enchanted Story?” – Enchanted Kingdom Celebrates 28 Magical Years

 

Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the first and only world class theme park in the Philippines, officially launched its 28 anniversary roster of events this October at the Eldar’s Theater last October 1.

The year-long celebration with the theme, “What’s Your Enchanted Story?” places the spotlight on recreating enchanting stories from the past and crafting new magical experiences for every guest, all encapsulated by the slogan, “Be The Magic, Be Enchanted!”

Nico Mamon, the 28th Anniversary Celebration Wizard and Head of Organization Development and Corporate Planning, expressed the park’s enduring connection with its guests over the past 28 years. He stated, “Enchanted Kingdom remains to be part of our guests’ personal milestones throughout its 28 years. We are very excited to capture these enchanting stories from our past and present guests, and celebrate these magical experiences with the future generation,”

In response to popular demand, the main highlight of the anniversary celebrations will be the return of the Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition, which is making a comeback after eight years and will take place every Saturday starting from October 7.

Aside from the fireworks competition, Enchanted Kingdom offers an array of exciting events throughout october for all types of guests:

  • On October 7th, Enchanted Kingdom recognizes our beloved teachers through activities and entertainment with the World Teachers Day Celebration event culminating the National Teachers Month.
  • On October 14th, EK launches “Storytime with Eldar, An Enchanting Kids Event” to start off the kids’ activities, followed by its very own Grand Storybook Characters Parade to introduce and meet and greet Enchanted Kingdom characters before the fireworks competition.
  • On October 21st, Eldar’s EKreators will host a trendy celebration, bringing together loyal park-goers, fans, and social media influencers in a unique collaboration. The event, hosted by Show Suzuki, features amazing performances by Kimpoy Feliciano, Mastermind, Femme ML, Legit Status, and SPC Dancing Riders.
  • Lastly, On October 28th, The Grand Finale of the Sky Wizardry Fireworks Competition will bedazzle guests. To wrap up the anniversary month, the “Be Enchanted! Concert” will be headlined by Asia’s Soul Supreme, KZ Tandingan, alongside other local acts like dwta & Axis PH.

Eksperience the Magic Card (EKMC) annual pass holders, will also be treated to “EKMC Weekend Specials”, an intimate event for pre-registered cardholders.

Enchanted Kingdom will also reintroduce nostalgic menu items from the past 28 years in its restaurants and launch new merchandise to commemorate its 28th anniversary. Guests will also discover several new EK and partner food outlets throughout the park.

During the launch, Enchanted Kingdom unveiled its latest offerings and developments in celebration of 28 years of creating and providing magical experiences and memories that last a lifetime. These include the:

  • The EK mobile app, featuring an interactive park map and a daily schedule of events and activities. Through the app, guests can conveniently access the EK online store (EKOS). Anna Mamon-Aban, EK’s Head of Business Development & Digital Transformation, encourages everyone to download the app for a smoother and more enchanting guest experience.
  • STARBOOKS, the Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) interactive kiosk system and digital library in a box, containing a vast collection of carefully curated knowledge content. Two units of STARBOOKS will be installed at the park’s Agila the EKsperience in partnership with DOST.
  • Guests can also anticipate an enhanced Fun Kart experience, with the introduction of new karts on EK’s 800-meter go-kart race track.

Finally, Enchanted Kingdom is set to enchant its guests with an upgraded dining experience through the introduction of branded dining outlets in the Portico area, situated adjacent to the Front Gate of the park. Moreover, EK has exciting news to share – starting December 17, the theme park will welcome visitors every day of the week, ensuring non-stop family-friendly leisure and entertainment, particularly during the holiday season.
