WATER PHILIPPINES 2025: A Step Toward Solving the Country’s Water Crisis

The Philippines’ ongoing water crisis is in the spotlight as WATER PHILIPPINES 2025 returns for its 7th edition from March 19 to 21, 2025, at SMX Convention Center Manila. This biennial event, organized by Informa Markets, will showcase over 400 exhibitors and draw more than 12,000 industry professionals to discuss cutting-edge solutions in water management.

Datuk Ir. Abdul Kadir B. Mohd Din, advisor of ASIAWATER, emphasized the event’s support for the Bagong Pilipinas initiative of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., highlighting its role in promoting improved water management across the country. “This event serves as a platform to introduce the latest innovations in water filtration, wastewater treatment, and resource management,” he stated.

Addressing a Growing Crisis

The National Water Resources Board reports that 11 million Filipino families still struggle to access clean water. While the country is rich in water resources, challenges such as pollution, rapid population growth, and extreme weather events continue to hinder equitable distribution.

WATER PHILIPPINES 2025, themed “Shaping the Future of Water Management,” will feature high-level conferences, workshops, and technology showcases to explore sustainable water solutions. Notable sessions include:

  • Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA) Conference – Focused on innovative and sustainable solutions.
  • Regional Water Talks 2.0 by ASIAWATER – Industry dialogues with regional experts.
  • Technology Seminars – Covering sustainable treatment and reuse of water, sludge, and wastewater.
  • PSSE Seminar – Insights on sustainable water management.
  • Luzon Conference by NAMPAP – Discussions on plumbing and water systems.

The event will also feature three international pavilions from Germany, Singapore, and Taiwan, showcasing global best practices in water management. PhilEnergy 2025, focused on renewable energy, will run alongside the event.

As the country faces mounting water challenges, WATER PHILIPPINES 2025 stands as a key platform for stakeholders to collaborate, innovate, and drive meaningful change in the nation’s water sector.
