Teva Opens A Standalone Store at Gateway Mall 2

The popular sandals brand Teva, known for its origins in the Grand Canyon, United States and a legacy spanning four decades, has officially opened a standalone store in the Philippines at Gateway Mall 2 on July 4, 2024 hosted by Anjay Anson, GMA Artist. The move signifies a milestone for Teva, which has primarily been available in multi-brand stores across the country until now.

Teva, compared to other sandals brands, is a performance footwear. It is not just for looking good or matching your outfit. It is for your active lifestyle. Right now, there are two official Teva stores in Manila – one here in Gateway Mall, the other is in Greenhills. Both are already open. In 2025, we hope to expand as the brand grows,” shared Bea Madrid, Teva Marketing Manager.

The Philippines, with its robust tourism sector, offers a wealth of possibilities for outdoor adventures such as hiking and beach trips. With this in mind, Teva’s approach to marketing is not just about traditional amplification. “It is really grassroots,” Madrid emphasized. “We want to connect to the local communities that can represent the brand well and could vouch for the performance aspect of it. How durable the soles are. How comfortable the straps can be and how they are able to tackle their challenging obstacles and trails with the brand.”

The store at Gateway Mall 2 features a diverse range of Teva products, from basic and classic colors to vibrant and festive straps that cater to a variety of personal styles. “What is trendy now really depends on the person’s preferred style,” said Madrid. “Teva is widely used for events like music festivals or waterparks. We want to be there for that type of adventure and cater to their needs.”

The new store promises a shopping experience where customers can explore and find their perfect pair of Teva sandals. “We just want to welcome everybody to come to the Teva store to have the full customer experience with us, to find their perfect style, soles, and strap colors. For your next adventure, keep Teva in mind. We won’t let you down,” Madrid concluded.
