Stories, Art, and Flavor Collide: Book Nook Ignites Creativity This March

Young artists are encouraged to freely express their imagination through hands-on creativity at the Arts and Crafts Workshop in partnership with The Crafters Marketplace, held at Book Nook SM Aura.

March was a vibrant month at Book Nook, where stories came to life through art, food, and community at SM Aura and SM Podium. With over 250 participants, Book Nook continued its mission to spark imagination and connection through a lively mix of workshops, storytelling, and cultural experiences.

At SM Aura, the month opened with a whimsical Arts and Crafts Workshop on March 15, in collaboration with The Crafters Marketplace. Young creators dove into a world of color and texture, producing one-of-a-kind artworks that proudly reflected their imagination.

Later in the month, Book Nook turned the page into the culinary world with the book launch of Ma Rasah: My Self-Trained Home Chef by Elvira Silla, held in partnership with Bookshelf PH. On March 26, foodies and readers gathered to celebrate Silla’s heartfelt cookbook—filled with over 150 soul-infused Filipino recipes with global twists. The author capped the launch by donating a signed copy to the Book Nook shelf for everyone to enjoy.

Capping the month was a special storytelling session on March 30 in celebration of National Women’s Month, featuring author Bambi Rodriguez and her empowering Super Maya stories, in partnership with IBBY Philippines. The event inspired young minds with messages of bravery, resilience, and female empowerment.
