Just after a grand opening in SM North Edsa, DECATHLON Philippines opened its fifth store in the monumental SM Mall of Asia. The “Phygital” (physical and digital) DECATHLON Pasay opened its door to a 1500-square-meter store that nests over 70 sports under one roof online and offline.

Powered by its purpose to sustainably make the benefits and sports accessible for the many, the Brand first opened in the Philippines through its flagship store located in Festival Mall, Alabang, and e-commerce platform, decathlon.ph in 2017. Just a year later, a branch in Pasig followed and by 2019, DECATHLON opened its first standalone store in Masinag, Antipolo. As it played through the pandemic, DECATHLON first opened in the North of Manila with its first concept store in SM North Edsa just last  Last month.

New sports playgrounds in Pasay and North Edsa

2021 sparked a long-term partnership with SM Supermalls as DECATHLON quested North Edsa and Pasay to build and enter the sporting communities.

DECATHLON fans can also enjoy seamless digital features in the new store. Next-day delivery and click-and-collect will be available thanks to the integration of the store to DECATHLON’s website. Membership will also be free for everyone. Reoperez shared that thanks to the team’s obsession with customer service, developments for easier shopping are on their way.

Sustainable playing

DECATHLON customers can also choose and enjoy Eco-designed sports products, items that are produced with lesser negative environmental impact, and Second Life items which are used sports items that are still in baseline working condition.

Reoperez assures that the Brand is coming up with more sustainable solutions to engage our customers to this mindset.
