SmarTrade Celebrates 8 Years of Empowering Lives Through Compassion and Financial Literacy

SmarTrade employees and ATFX partners with the children of Child Haus, the beneficiary of this year’s Give2Gift outreach program.

Eight years of service, growth, and advocacy came full circle as SmarTrade marked its 8th anniversary with a celebration centered not on profit, but on purpose. In partnership with ATFX Cares—the CSR arm of global broker ATFX—SmarTrade held the fourth edition of its Give2Gift initiative, turning its milestone into an opportunity to uplift the lives of terminally ill children under the care of the Child Haus Foundation in Quezon City.

Since its inception, Give2Gift has been more than just a donation drive—it’s a movement built on empathy and collective action. The program allows SmarTrade employees to pool their resources, which the management then matches to amplify the impact. Past beneficiaries have included abandoned elderly, cancer patients, and children with special needs. This year, the focus was on helping Child Haus maintain a clean and healthy living environment for its young residents battling serious illnesses.

The SmarTrade and ATFX Cares teams came bearing boxes of essentials—hygiene products, disinfectants, cleaning agents, and household staples—all carefully chosen to support the foundation’s daily needs. But beyond material help, the day was also about joy and connection. A lively clown show filled the room with laughter and wonder, while a simple meal gathered children, parents, and staff around shared stories and smiles.

The children, in turn, expressed their gratitude through a heartfelt performance and handwritten letters that moved many to tears. It was a reminder that compassion, no matter how simple, creates ripples of hope in the lives of others.

“Our core values extend beyond business excellence to a deep commitment to people and communities,” shared Joyce Mayo, President and CEO of SmarTrade. “True success isn’t measured by numbers alone but by how we inspire, uplift, and give back. That’s what Give2Gift stands for—a culture of care and compassion that defines who we are.”

For SmarTrade, anniversaries are not just milestones—they are moments to reflect on how far the company has come in empowering Filipinos through both financial literacy and social responsibility. From coastal clean-ups and coral reef restoration to emergency relief and annual outreach programs, SmarTrade continues to bridge growth with goodwill—proving that when business and kindness go hand in hand, everyone wins.
