SM Foundation, BingoPlus Foundation’s new collab invests in tomorrow’s tech talents

Collaborating for social good in tech education. BingoPlus Foundation, represented by Digiplus Interactive chairperson Eusebio Tanco, BingoPlus COO Celeste Jovenir, and executive director Angela Camins-Wieneke, and SM Foundation, represented by trustee Harley Sy, executive director Debbie Sy, independent trustee Dr. Lydia Echauz, trustee Engr. Ramon Gil Macapagal, executive director for education programs Carmen Linda Atayde, and Senior Asst. Vice President for Scholarship Eleanor Lansang, sign a MOA to provide the youth from vulnerable communities access to quality tech education.

SM Foundation and BingoPlus Foundation have forged a partnership to provide technology education to youth from vulnerable communities.

The BingoPlus FutureSmart – SM Foundation Scholarship Program offers college education for students pursuing courses in Game Development, Software Engineering, and Data Science, with specialization in Web Development, Multimedia Arts and Design, and Information Technology.

The collaboration for social good grants full scholarships to 30 aspiring tech professionals starting in the 2024-2025 school year. 

By providing this opportunity to deserving youth, the program aims to uplift the lives of Filipino families by nurturing the next generation of tech professionals in the Philippines and positively impacting the country’s IT industry in the coming years.

BingoPlus Foundation launched its FutureSmart program, believing and investing in the next generation of Filipino tech talents through education and scholarship programs. Meanwhile, the SM Foundation, founded by SM Group founder Henry Sy, Sr., established its Scholarship Program to support deserving students by providing access to higher education. To date, the SM Foundation has uplifted the lives of over 4,200 students nationwide.
