In a heartfelt move to promote literacy and a culture of reading, SM Book Nook and the National Library of the Philippines have come together for a meaningful partnership. The two institutions recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to officially kick off a Nationwide Book Donation Drive across all SM Supermalls.

The initiative invites mallgoers from all walks of life to donate new or gently used books that will be distributed to public libraries, schools, and underserved communities throughout the country. Through this campaign, SM Book Nook and the National Library aim to empower young minds, enrich lives, and make reading more accessible to Filipinos nationwide.

This collaboration reflects a shared belief in the transformative power of stories. Whether it’s a children’s tale that inspires imagination or a textbook that opens doors to new knowledge, every donated book becomes a stepping stone to a better future.

The launch is more than a call for donations—it’s a call to action, reminding everyone that the simple act of giving a book can leave a lasting impact. As the campaign gains momentum, SM malls across the nation are expected to become hubs of hope and literacy.

Together, SM Book Nook and the National Library are turning pages and changing lives—one book, one reader, and one future at a time.
