Shopee Deliveries Now Made Even More Reliable with Isuzu

Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) turned over NMR85H aluminum van trucks to SPX Philippines Inc. (Shopee Xpress) last Monday, July 5, 2021. These new fleet additions will bolster the integrated logistics service of Shopee, the country’s leading and most popular e-commerce platform.

Shopee Xpress serves as the standard delivery option for the said online marketplace that aims to efficiently ship items to not just ensure timely distribution but also faster payout among sellers.

“From here on, Isuzu is looking forward to contributing to a more enjoyable e-commerce experience to Shopee sellers and customers through the NMR’s proven reliability and versatility on the road,” adds Mr. Joseph Bautista, Sales Division Head, who joined Mr. Sakoda during the official ceremony alongside Mr. Alex Paguio, Isuzu Automotive Dealership, Inc.’s (IADI) Chief Operating Officer, who was chiefly responsible in sealing the partnership.

The NMR85H is powered by a 4JJ1-TCC Euro IV diesel engine having a maximum power of 124 PS and torque of 354 N-m and has a 14-feet rear body. These engine and body configuration are suited to safely carry high volume cargoes ideal for Shopee Xpress who places importance in providing utmost care and handling especially when transporting from one hub to the other. On top of these is Isuzu’s wide dealer network that offer readily available parts as well as expert aftersales maintenance and care for end-to-end support in productivity of operations.
