The Public Relations Society of the Philippines (PRSP) has empowered communications professionals with practical tools for crafting outstanding submissions to the upcoming 61st ANVIL Awards.
Held on September 2 at the Meralco Multi-Purpose Hall in Pasig City, the seminar “How to Package a Winning ANVIL Awards Entry” drew participants from corporate, PR, and advertising circles. The session spotlighted refined judging rubrics that place stronger weight on research, measurable results, and campaigns that create meaningful impact beyond creativity.
Ana Ruby Pista, APR, PRSP Vice President for Internal Affairs and Chair of the 61st ANVIL Awards, emphasized that the updated framework reflects the organization’s drive for rigor and fairness. “The 61st ANVIL is not only about recognizing creativity — it’s about celebrating campaigns that deliver verifiable impact to organizations and communities,” she explained.

Providing deeper insights, Norman Agatep, APR, PRSP Vice President for External Affairs and past PRSP President, detailed what judges look for in submissions. He highlighted the importance of storytelling, clarity of audience, and strategic resonance, even showcasing award-winning campaign videos to illustrate best practices. “The first step to winning an ANVIL lies in how you package your entry. It’s about championing the scale and impact of your work,” he told attendees.
PRSP President Ma. Luisa Sebastian, APR, later led a Q&A segment where participants clarified challenges and gained further guidance on their entry preparations.
To reach more interested professionals, PRSP announced two additional sessions, available in both face-to-face and online formats, set for the last week of September. Entries for the ANVIL Awards may be submitted until November 15, 2025, via anvilawards.prsp.ph.
