A new travel initiative is making it easier for LGBTQIA+ travelers and their allies to enjoy more affordable and welcoming hotel experiences across the country. Global Comfort Group Corporation (GCGC), together with the Quezon City Government and the Quezon City Tourism Department, has officially launched Pride Plus+, a digital membership program that combines travel savings with a strong commitment to inclusivity.
Introduced at Hotel DreamWorld North EDSA, the program is supported by three hospitality brands under GCGC: Eurotel, Hotel DreamWorld, and Apo View Hotel. Carrying the theme “Diverse Destinations, Inclusive Experiences,” Pride Plus+ aims to create a travel environment where guests can feel comfortable, respected, and valued wherever their journeys take them.

The initiative recognizes the growing influence of LGBTQIA+ travelers in the tourism industry. Studies around the world have shown that members of the community are among the most active travelers, frequently exploring new destinations for leisure, business, family visits, and community events. More importantly, they often prioritize destinations and accommodations that promote diversity, acceptance, and safety.
Through Pride Plus+, members gain access to practical travel benefits that can be enjoyed across participating hotels nationwide. Cardholders receive a 30 percent discount on standard room rates and a 5 percent discount on food and beverage purchases, along with special promotions and exclusive offers throughout the year.

The digital card can be used at Hotel DreamWorld and Eurotel properties located in key Metro Manila destinations such as Quezon City, Makati, Manila, Las Piñas, and Ortigas East. The benefits also extend beyond the capital, covering Eurotel Angeles-Clark, Eurotel Boracay, and Apo View Hotel in Davao City. This wide network allows travelers to enjoy the perks whether they are planning a quick staycation, a beach getaway, a business trip, or a visit to loved ones.
For Quezon City Tourism Department Officer-in-Charge Giana Aira Barata, the program reflects the city’s continuing support for inclusive tourism. She emphasized that every visitor deserves a welcoming experience regardless of background, identity, or orientation, adding that the initiative is designed to benefit travelers not only within Quezon City but throughout the country.

The launch gathered representatives from the hospitality sector, local government, and various advocacy organizations, including ASEAN SOGIE Caucus, We Pride PH, Team Dugong Bughaw, and Green GSM. Their participation highlighted the broader mission behind the program: fostering acceptance and creating spaces where diversity is celebrated.
Christian Emmanuel “Chris” Bona, Head of Hotel Marketing at GCGC, explained that Pride Plus+ is intended to go beyond seasonal campaigns. The program will run through December 2026, demonstrating a long-term commitment to inclusion and equal hospitality for LGBTQIA+ guests.
Green GSM Head of Sales and Partnership Mark Evangel Rosales also welcomed the initiative, noting that safer and more affirming travel experiences benefit not only LGBTQIA+ travelers but the entire tourism community.
Adding energy to the launch was LGBTQIA+ advocate and content creator Pitik Queen, who inspired attendees with a message about confidence, self-expression, and belonging before leading a lively celebration that brought together guests from various sectors.
With free registration and immediate access to discounts, Pride Plus+ offers more than travel perks. It represents a growing movement toward a more inclusive hospitality industry—one where every traveler can explore the Philippines with greater comfort, confidence, and pride.
