Mountain Living Completed

Highlands Prime, Inc. (HPI) has completed Horizon Terraces, bringing the final phase of its Horizon residential development at Tagaytay Highlands to completion and offering homeowners a fully established mountain community designed for leisure, retirement, and long-term living.

A subsidiary of SM Prime Holdings, Inc., HPI developed Horizon Terraces following the success of The Horizon, its first phase. The project responds to continued interest in residences that combine lifestyle benefits with the potential to serve as second homes, retirement retreats, or properties that can be passed on to future generations.

“All buildings at Horizon Terraces are now complete and ready for move-in,” said Patrick Joseph A. Villano, Vice President and Head of Operations for SM Leisure Resort Residences. He noted that residents can already enjoy the development’s swimming pools, Central Garden and other outdoor amenities.

Located within a 3.2-hectare enclave about 240 meters above sea level, Horizon Terraces provides scenic views of the Tagaytay Midlands Golf Course, Taal Lake and Mt. Makiling. The development has attracted strong buyer interest and is now nearly 90 percent sold.

Nature and open spaces are central to the community’s design. More than 70 percent of the property is devoted to landscaped gardens and open areas, creating a low-density residential environment. A one-hectare Central Garden serves as the heart of the development, featuring resort-style swimming pools, a children’s playground, pocket gardens, and spaces for recreation, exercise and outdoor activities.

Horizon Terraces offers different residential options to accommodate varying lifestyles and space requirements. Its Garden Villas feature three-storey townhomes ranging from 139 to 172 square meters within the Scottsdale, Glendale and Sunnyvale clusters.

For residents looking for more compact accommodations, the Garden Suites provide one- and two-bedroom units measuring approximately 35 to 103 square meters. These are located within the low-rise St. Andrews, Glenview, Westchase and Redstone buildings.

According to Villano, the variety of unit configurations allows homeowners to select residences suitable for weekend escapes, extended family stays or eventual permanent mountain living.

With the development now completed, Horizon Terraces strengthens Tagaytay Highlands’ residential portfolio by combining scenic surroundings, generous open spaces and ready-for-occupancy homes in an established leisure estate.
