This is why on August 29, 2019, Barefoot Wines launches The Barefoot ARK, a kindness movement at changing things for the better, one small step at a time. ARK stands for Acts of Random Kindness – easy, little deeds that make the world just a little better for everyone.

Kicking off with a press launch at Gourmet Gypsy Art Café attended by around 50 representatives from traditional and digital media, The Barefoot Ark launch, unveiled its advocacy video, mission and vision.

Through the Barefoot ARK page on Facebook and Instagram, followers and volunteers are encouraged to do, post and share acts of random kindness. While deeds help brighten one person, creature or community’s life, posting and sharing these deeds help make social media a better place for the rest of us—brightening our feeds, encouraging others to do the same, and helping people know that despite the darkness, there are glimmers of light created by kind people everywhere.

Aside from just the page and the social media movement calling for acts of kindness, Barefoot encourages and motivates through its monthly search for ARK of the Month where acts of random kindness posted on social media may be nominated to win prizes care of the company.

Barefoot Wines is a specialty wine brand from California known for its distinctly fun personality, and as the brand pioneered worthy-cause marketing, supporting people and causes such as the environment, education and community building.
