LG Electronics is setting a new standard for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technology with its latest lineup of energy-efficient solutions at AHR Expo 2025 in Orlando, Florida. From February 10-12, attendees will witness LG’s groundbreaking advancements in heat pumps, chillers, and variable refrigerant flow (VRF) systems, all designed to support global decarbonization efforts and meet the rising demand for electrification in HVAC solutions.
At the heart of LG’s showcase are its high-efficiency Inverter Heat Pumps, now ENERGY STAR® certified across all capacities. These heat pumps, tailored for North American homes, offer powerful and reliable climate control, integrating seamlessly with A-Coils and Furnace systems.
The newly introduced LG Inverter Heat Pump Water Heater, featuring DUAL Inverter Heat Pump technology, ensures peak efficiency and intuitive smart control via LG’s ThinQ™ app. Meanwhile, LG’s Residential Cold Climate Heat Pump, winner of the 2025 AHR Innovation Award, is designed to operate in extreme cold, delivering consistent heating even at -35°C (-31°F) while preventing pipe freezing with its innovative Low Heating feature.

For commercial applications, LG is presenting the Multi V™ i VRF system, an advanced multi-zone temperature control solution utilizing R32 refrigerant, which offers a lower Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 675. Designed to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint, this system integrates intelligent temperature management, leak prevention safety features, and a flexible installation design.
Further cementing its industry leadership, LG is unveiling the Oil-Free Inverter Centrifugal Chiller, a cutting-edge solution utilizing LeviTech™ magnetic bearing technology for enhanced energy efficiency and performance. Supporting low-GWP refrigerants such as R513A, R1233zd, and R1234ze, this chiller aligns with evolving international refrigerant regulations while ensuring optimal cooling reliability through LG’s advanced thermal management systems.
LG is also highlighting its expertise in compressor and motor technology at its Component Solutions booth. The company’s expanded Scroll Compressor lineup is engineered for both residential and commercial HVAC applications, incorporating innovative designs for improved efficiency.

Additionally, LG continues its leadership in Cold Climate Heat Pumps (CCHP), actively collaborating with HVAC manufacturers and participating in the U.S. Department of Energy’s Cold Climate Heat Pump Technology Challenge to advance specialized compressor technology.
“As a global leader in HVAC innovation, LG is dedicated to driving the industry toward a more sustainable and electrified future,” said James Lee, president of LG ES Company. “Our latest solutions demonstrate our commitment to efficiency, performance, and environmental responsibility.”
Attendees can experience LG’s state-of-the-art HVAC technologies firsthand by visiting booth #6643 at the Orange County Convention Center.
