Leadership is not measured only by titles or positions. Its true value can be seen in communities strengthened, people recognized, children supported, and initiatives that continue long after an event has ended.
This philosophy has shaped JCI Senate Philippines throughout 2026 as the organization expanded its nationwide activities under the banner “Greater Impact, A Stronger Nation.”
Led by National President Sen. Robert Go, alongside Philippine Jaycee Senate Foundation Chairman Sen. Eduardo Ares Echem, JCI Senate Philippines has spent the year strengthening chapters while bringing programs on honesty, environmental responsibility, professional excellence, livelihood recognition, and community service to different parts of the country.

Supporting the national leadership are National Executive Vice President Sen. Herbert Tang, National Secretary-General Sen. Christian Clemeno, and Sen. Agnes Rafanan Brazell, Special Assistant to the National President. Actress and public servant Sen. Angelica Jones Alarva, Board Member of Laguna’s 3rd District, serves as the organization’s 2026 Media Relations Officer.
Rather than concentrating its activities in one region, the national leadership traveled across the Philippines to participate in chapter inductions, anniversaries, meetings, and community programs. Chapters in Manila, San Juan, Capiz, Batangas, Lipa, Baguio, Dagupan, Davao, Zamboanga, San Pablo City, and other areas became part of a broader effort to strengthen cooperation among JCI Senators.
That spirit of service is particularly visible in the organization’s five flagship programs.
Kasambahay Kasambuhay 2026 recognizes household workers whose dedication often happens quietly behind the scenes. Ten outstanding kasambahays will each receive ₱100,000, TESDA scholarships, and other benefits—giving recognition to individuals who play an important role in Filipino homes.

Project WATCH, or “We Advocate Time Consciousness & Honesty,” brings values formation directly into schools and communities. During Project WATCH Month, Sen. Angelica Jones Alarva personally supported Laguna schools and communities through an Honesty Store, Mobile Kitchen, wall clocks, hand soaps, and other initiatives. Similar activities reached communities in Isabela, Bicol, Biñan, Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, and other parts of the country.
JCI Senate Philippines also continues to recognize Filipinos whose professions and achievements contribute to society. The Outstanding Filipino Physician (TOFP) honors doctors making meaningful differences in people’s lives, while The Outstanding Filipino (TOFIL) celebrates individuals whose accomplishments represent a lasting legacy of national service.
Environmental responsibility is another priority. Through GREENLINK, JCI Senators and partner communities participate in tree planting and sustainability initiatives, including a major activity in Norzagaray, Bulacan.

Service has also extended to vulnerable children. Proceeds from the inaugural Joaquin V. Gonzalez Cup, honoring the world’s first JCI Senator, supported the G.A.L.A. Foundation–Gabay Sa Landas. JCI Senate leaders visited the shelter with food, school backpacks, activities, and financial assistance for abandoned children.
Beyond community programs, JCI Senate Philippines strengthened fellowship through its Grand Raffle Draw, fundraising golf tournaments, chapter gatherings, and participation in JCI ASPAC 2026 in Niigata, Japan.
As the organization marks its 58th Anniversary on October 7, 2026, in Tagbilaran City, Bohol, followed by its National Convention in Cebu from October 8–10, the year offers a reminder of what volunteer leadership can accomplish when fellowship is transformed into action.
For JCI Senate Philippines, building a stronger nation does not begin with one grand gesture. It begins with individuals choosing to serve—and communities becoming stronger because they did.
