Landco Lifestyle Ventures Takes the Helm at Camp John Hay’s Premier Properties

Landco Lifestyle Ventures (LLV), the hospitality arm of Landco Pacific Corporation, has officially taken over the management of The Manor and Forest Lodge at Camp John Hay, along with the CAMP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center in Baguio City. This move supports the Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) in transitioning these iconic properties to a new long-term private partner.

As part of Metro Pacific Investment Corporation, Landco Pacific, led by Chairman Manuel V. Pangilinan, has long been recognized for its expertise in creating premier leisure developments. LLV, its rebranded hospitality division, is well-known for managing top-tier resorts, including the 15-hectare Casobe in Calatagan and the 23-hectare Club Laiya in Batangas. With its proven track record, LLV is poised to elevate the guest experience at Camp John Hay’s esteemed properties.

Leadership in Hospitality and Leisure

Heading LLV’s expansion is Patrick “Pato” C. Gregorio, a seasoned leader in hospitality, tourism, and sports management. With decades of experience, Gregorio has held key roles in the industry, including serving as the youngest general manager of the Manila Hotel and as president of Waterfront Hotels and Resorts. He was also recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Men (TOYM) awardees for tourism in 2003.

Gregorio’s leadership is expected to bring a fresh perspective to LLV’s operations, blending luxury and premium hospitality with world-class service. His diverse background, which includes overseeing Philippine sports organizations and playing a crucial role in the country’s delegation for the 2024 Paris Olympics, showcases his adaptability and vision for elevating guest experiences.

A Premier Destination in Baguio

Camp John Hay, a historic retreat that once served as a rest and recreation facility for American soldiers, has evolved into one of Baguio’s most sought-after destinations. Now under LLV’s management, its hotels and cultural center offer an exceptional mix of nature, adventure, and relaxation.

The five-star Manor Hotel combines old-world charm with modern luxury, providing breathtaking mountain views, gourmet dining, a stylish bar, and rejuvenating spa treatments. With 163 elegantly designed rooms, including 47 suites, guests can enjoy a serene escape in Baguio’s cool mountain climate.

Meanwhile, the Forest Lodge offers a cozy retreat with a unique architectural style, warm interiors, and personalized service. The Trade and Cultural Center is a premier venue for conventions, theater performances, weddings, and corporate events, boasting an expansive stage and outdoor banquet facilities.

With LLV at the helm, Camp John Hay is set to redefine hospitality in the country’s summer capital, offering world-class accommodations and unforgettable experiences.
