John Aguilar Launches The Art & Science of Peak Performance

What does it take to live, work, and thrive at your absolute best? For John Aguilar—multi-awarded entrepreneur, TV producer, and bestselling author—the answer lies in a lifelong quest that has now been captured in his latest book, The Art & Science of Peak Performance. Published by Penguin Random House Southeast Asia, the book will be officially launched on September 6, 2025, at Shangri-La Plaza East Mall from 3:00 to 6:00 PM.

The new title follows Aguilar’s national bestsellers The Art & Science of the Pitch and Methods to Greatness, but this time, the journey is deeply personal. After challenging himself to return to competitive sports two decades after retiring, Aguilar set out to explore what drives human performance at its highest level. His pursuit took him across continents: plunging into the icy waters of the Baltic Sea, seeking lessons from Finland’s “Happiness Professor,” and exploring the famed Blue Zones where people live longer, healthier lives.

Along the way, he spoke with Olympians, Formula 1 coaches, psychologists, doctors, and business leaders, distilling their insights into practical strategies for everyday living. The book covers seven pillars of performance: Sleep, Nutrition & Supplementation, Movement & Training, The Peak Performer Mindset, Recovery & Injury Prevention, Disease Prevention & Intervention, and Biohacking & Longevity.

“This book is the culmination of my journey to push past limits,” Aguilar shared. “I wanted to merge science and storytelling with actionable steps that anyone can take to perform better—not just athletes, but professionals, parents, and leaders in every walk of life.”

The September 6 event is designed as an immersive experience rather than a traditional book launch. Attendees can look forward to interactive wellness activities, partner brand showcases, and appearances from select personalities featured in the book, alongside Aguilar’s own keynote talk and book reading. Leaders from business, wellness, and fitness communities are expected to attend.

With The Art & Science of Peak Performance, Aguilar not only shares the results of his global exploration but also offers a roadmap for anyone striving for mental clarity, physical vitality, and resilience in a demanding world.
