The iPhone 17e includes satellite-based features such as Emergency SOS, Messages via satellite, and Roadside Assistance, allowing users to stay connected even in areas without cellular coverage. Crash Detection also automatically contacts emergency services if a severe car accident is detected.

Running on iOS 26, the device benefits from Apple Intelligence features that introduce smarter ways to communicate and manage everyday tasks.
