Innovation and Sustainability Take Center Stage at PackPrintPlas Philippines 2025

The country’s premier showcase for packaging, printing, and plastics is back, bringing with it a renewed focus on technology and sustainability. From September 18 to 20, 2025, PackPrintPlas Philippines returns for its 31st edition at the SMX Convention Center Manila, presenting industry players with a gateway to the future of manufacturing.

Spanning more than 10,000 square meters of exhibit space, the event will feature over 300 global and local brands with more than 600 live machines on display. Organized by Global-Link MP Events International, Inc. in partnership with Messe Düsseldorf Asia, PackPrintPlas continues to be the go-to platform for businesses looking to modernize their production lines, adopt greener practices, and explore emerging technologies. The expo enjoys the support of key associations—the Philippine Plastics Industry Association (PPIA), the Packaging Institute of the Philippines (PIP), and the Philippine Center for Print Excellence Foundation (PCPEF)—as well as Ayala Foundation, Inc., which will benefit from this year’s edition.

Energy and sustainability are taking the spotlight with the participation of MPOWER, Meralco’s retail electricity supply arm. As a major sponsor, MPOWER highlights how reliable and cost-efficient energy solutions can empower manufacturers to stay competitive while reducing their environmental footprint.

Patrick-Lawrence Tan, CEO of Global-Link MP, emphasized that PackPrintPlas is not just an exhibition but a catalyst for progress. “Our goal is to give decision-makers a space where they can see, touch, and experience the solutions that will drive smarter and more sustainable operations,” he said.

The exhibitor lineup spans a wide range of innovations—from high-speed digital presses and robotics to bioplastics, 3D printing, and advanced molding equipment. International heavyweights like Canon, Heidelberg, Ricoh, and Fujifilm will stand alongside local champions, offering technologies that respond directly to the growing demand for speed, customization, and eco-friendly production.

Ringling Gernot, Managing Director of Messe Düsseldorf Asia, noted that the Philippines remains one of Southeast Asia’s most promising markets. “PackPrintPlas is the stage where local and global players can collaborate, innovate, and meet the region’s rising demand for smarter, greener solutions,” he said.

Beyond exhibits, visitors can expect product launches, expert forums, and business-matching sessions designed to foster partnerships. With its blend of technology, sustainability, and collaboration, PackPrintPlas Philippines 2025 reaffirms its role as the ultimate hub for industry transformation.
