Home Credit PH Kicks Off Wellness Movement with 2,000+ Runners at Takbo #ParaSaLife

Over 2,000 Filipinos laced up their running shoes to take part in Takbo #ParaSaLife, Home Credit Philippines’ first-ever fun run held at Parqal, Aseana City. The event, organized by WeKenRun and led by renowned marathon coach Ken Mendola, encouraged participants to embrace an active lifestyle while highlighting Home Credit’s commitment to holistic well-being beyond financial services.

Runners of all fitness levels participated in 1K, 3K, 5K, and 10K categories, making the event inclusive for everyone—from beginners to seasoned athletes. Among the attendees were Home Credit executives, corporate partners, and wellness advocates, including Lester Cruz, CEO of Singlife Philippines. Employees from Boltech, SM, and event partners like Xiaomi, Park Access, and Singlife also joined the race, reinforcing the shared vision of promoting health and wellness.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), nearly 40% of Filipinos are physically inactive, increasing the risk of lifestyle-related diseases. Home Credit, a trusted ally in financial inclusion, extends its advocacy to overall well-being through initiatives like Takbo #ParaSaLife.

Additional prizes included ON Running Shoes, Suunto gear, Xiaomi smart home gadgets, Park Access vouchers, and Singlife insurance packages worth up to ₱7,500.
