Quezon Governor Angelina Helen Tan (center) formally received life-saving newborn care equipment from TeaM Energy, represented by Froilan Gregory H. Romualdez III, Assistant Vice President for External Affairs, during a recent turnover ceremony at Quezon Medical Center in Lucena City. Facilitated by TeaM Energy Foundation Inc. (TEFI), the donation supports the province’s public healthcare improvement efforts, a key priority of Gov. Tan. The equipment includes two clinical incubators, four phototherapy lights, two infant warmers with resuscitation tables, and two fetal dopplers—critical tools for maternal and neonatal care. Also present during the ceremony were representatives from TeaM Energy and key members of QMC’s medical leadership.

In a show of unwavering commitment to public healthcare, TeaM Energy, through its corporate social responsibility arm TeaM Energy Foundation Inc. (TEFI), turned over life-saving medical equipment to Quezon Medical Center (QMC) in Lucena City—further strengthening the province’s maternal and infant care services.

Leading the ceremony was Quezon Governor Angelina Helen Tan, who formally accepted the donation from Froilan Gregory H. Romualdez III, Assistant Vice President for External Affairs of TeaM Energy. The initiative is in line with Gov. Tan’s advocacy to enhance healthcare access and quality, especially for the most vulnerable sectors.

The donated equipment includes two clinical incubators, four phototherapy lights, two infant warmers with resuscitation tables, and two fetal dopplers. These tools are essential in improving the survival and health outcomes of newborns, particularly in high-risk cases.

This donation will go a long way in improving our neonatal care capabilities. It’s a timely reinforcement of our ongoing efforts to modernize provincial health facilities,” said Gov. Tan.

Also present during the event were QMC Hospital Chief Dr. Juan Eugenio Fidel Villanueva, Pediatric Department Head Dr. Augustina Cabangon, and other medical and administrative leaders, along with TeaM Energy’s External Affairs team.

Through this initiative, TeaM Energy continues to promote sustainable development in communities where it operates, focusing on health, education, and the environment. The partnership with Quezon Province not only delivers critical medical tools—it brings hope to families, ensuring that every child gets a healthy start in life.
