According to SM Retail President Jonathan Ng, safeguarding customer information remains essential in building and maintaining trust among consumers. Beyond the award, SM Retail was also named a finalist for the Privacy Initiative of the Year category. Adding to the company’s accomplishments, Data Protection Officer Leyson San Juan was recognized as a finalist for Data Protection Officer of the Year for the second straight year.
