Green GSM, Global Comfort Group Drive Greener TravelR

Green GSM Philippines is strengthening its presence in the country’s tourism and hospitality sector through a new partnership with Global Comfort Group Corporation, bringing together hotel accommodations and all-electric transportation to create a more convenient and sustainable travel experience.

The two companies recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore strategic initiatives that combine hospitality services with electric mobility. The collaboration is expected to provide travelers with easier access to environmentally responsible transportation while supporting the growing demand for seamless travel solutions in the Philippines.

Under the agreement, Green GSM and Global Comfort Group will explore several areas of cooperation, including corporate mobility services, hotel guest transportation, promotional campaigns, loyalty programs, and other customer engagement initiatives.

Global Comfort Group operates several hospitality brands across the country, including Hotel Sogo, Astrotel, Dormtel, Eurotel, Hotel DreamWorld, and Apo View Hotel. Through the partnership, guests at participating properties may gain convenient access to Green GSM’s all-electric taxi services for airport transfers, business appointments, sightseeing trips, and other transportation needs.

The initiative is designed to connect the different stages of a traveler’s journey—from accommodation to transportation—while encouraging greater awareness and adoption of electric mobility.

Green GSM currently operates a growing fleet of VinFast electric vehicles in the Philippines. The company is also preparing to introduce the Limo Green model, which is expected to expand its mobility options and address the varied transportation requirements of residents and visitors.

Christian Emmanuel Bona, Corporate Marketing Head of Global Comfort Group Corporation, said the partnership reflects the company’s view that travel extends beyond simply arriving at a destination.

He emphasized that travelers should feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their journey. By combining comfortable hotel stays with sustainable transportation, the group hopes to make domestic travel easier while helping guests become more mindful of the destinations they visit.

Green GSM Philippines Chief Executive Officer Le Thi Thu Trang said the collaboration provides an opportunity to integrate quality accommodation with smart and sustainable transportation. She added that the continued expansion of Green GSM’s electric fleet, including the planned introduction of Limo Green, will provide customers with more mobility choices while making electric transportation a more familiar part of everyday travel.

The partnership comes as the Philippine tourism industry continues to evolve, with travelers increasingly considering transportation, convenience, sustainability, and overall experience when planning their trips. This shift is opening opportunities for hospitality and mobility companies to develop integrated services that extend beyond traditional hotel accommodations.

While the MoU marks the initial stage of cooperation, Green GSM and Global Comfort Group intend to explore practical programs that can deliver long-term benefits to travelers and their respective businesses.

For Green GSM, the collaboration also forms part of its broader strategy to establish partnerships with reputable organizations and expand its all-electric mobility ecosystem. By making electric transportation more accessible to Filipinos and international visitors, the company aims to support wider adoption of sustainable mobility in the Philippines and eventually across the ASEAN region.
