Globe’s near-local roaming GoRoam expands to more destinations

Globe Telecom has announced an exciting expansion of its GoRoam service, enhancing connectivity for Filipino travelers by adding Japan, Canada, Vietnam, and Australia to its roster of destinations.

As the long weekend approaches, Globe is offering exclusive country-specific roaming packages at competitive rates, allowing users to enjoy local-like pricing and convenience while using their existing Globe SIM.

This expansion follows the success of previous GoRoam initiatives in places such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, and the United States. “This is a game-changer for Filipino travelers, providing seamless connectivity and significant savings,” stated Paula Rivera-Castillo, Globe’s Head of International Business.

With GoRoam, travelers can activate their roaming plans effortlessly via the GlobeOne app, where they can also monitor their data usage, ensuring they stay connected to loved ones and manage work responsibilities while abroad.

Customers can even book their data roaming offers a year in advance, with the flexibility to cancel for free if plans change. For more details, travelers can check the Globe website and download the GlobeOne and GCash apps to get started with GoRoam.
