Foundever Opens Career Doors for 4Ps Beneficiaries through Learn2Employ

Foundever® in the Philippines is breaking barriers to employment through its Learn2Employ program, a pioneering initiative designed to empower beneficiaries of the government’s Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) with the skills and confidence to enter the customer experience (CX) industry.

Launched in July and August at the Alabang Central Market and Mandaluyong City Protection Center for Women, Children, and LGBTQIA+, the program offered comprehensive job readiness training that combined technical instruction with personal development. A total of 124 participants—74 from Muntinlupa and 50 from Mandaluyong—completed the program, gaining exposure to communication, customer service, and workplace professionalism tailored for the BPO sector.

Following the training, all participants were invited to apply for positions at Foundever, with seven successfully hired—a milestone that highlights the initiative’s measurable impact. But beyond employment numbers, the program’s true success lies in providing opportunities for individuals to build self-sufficiency and long-term career growth.

“The Learn2Employ initiative represents our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for every Filipino, regardless of their background,” said Willy Lim, Vice President for HR, Marketing, and Talent Acquisition for Foundever in the Philippines, China, and Malaysia. “With the right training and support, 4Ps beneficiaries can thrive in the BPO industry and create better futures for their families.”

Lim emphasized that while direct employment is an important outcome, the broader goal is empowerment through education. “Seeing seven of our trainees transition into our workforce is rewarding, but empowering all 124 participants with lasting skills is the real victory,” he added.

Through Learn2Employ, Foundever showcases how public-private collaboration can drive inclusive workforce development. By aligning community support with industry needs, the program transforms lives and opens new pathways for Filipinos—proving that with opportunity and guidance, anyone can achieve success in today’s fast-evolving job market.
