FAST Logistics Returns to Full Family Ownership

FAST Logistics Group is set to begin a new chapter as the Chiongbian family moves to regain full ownership of the company, reinforcing its long-term commitment to the Philippine logistics and supply chain industry.

The company announced that the Chiongbian family, through its designated acquisition vehicle, has entered into definitive agreements to acquire the remaining 40 percent stake held by a subsidiary of CVC Capital Partners Asia Pacific IV. Upon completion of the transaction and receipt of the necessary regulatory approvals, the family will once again hold 100 percent ownership of FAST Logistics Group, one of the country’s leading providers of integrated logistics and third-party logistics (3PL) services.

The move reflects the family’s confidence in the continued growth of the Philippine economy and the increasing demand for modern logistics solutions. It also signals the next phase of FAST’s development as it seeks to expand its capabilities and strengthen its market leadership.

Over the years, FAST and CVC worked closely to enhance the company’s operations and nationwide network. During the partnership, FAST expanded its logistics infrastructure, improved operational efficiencies, strengthened customer relationships, and invested in technology-driven supply chain solutions that cater to evolving market demands.

William B. Chiongbian II, Group President of FAST Logistics Group, acknowledged the role CVC played in the company’s growth journey.

“We are grateful for the partnership and support provided by CVC over the past several years. Their contribution helped accelerate our growth, strengthen our organization, and position FAST for its next chapter,” he said. “As we move toward full family ownership, we remain committed to investing in our people, customers, and capabilities while pursuing sustainable long-term growth.”

The transaction highlights the Chiongbian family’s dedication to the company’s founding mission of delivering world-class logistics and supply chain services across the Philippines. With logistics becoming increasingly vital to economic growth, e-commerce expansion, and supply chain modernization, FAST aims to continue investing in warehousing, transportation, digital solutions, and value-added services to better serve customers nationwide.

For CVC, the transaction marks the successful conclusion of a partnership that helped strengthen one of the country’s leading logistics platforms.

Brice Cu, Philippine Country Head and Senior Managing Director of CVC, expressed appreciation for the collaboration with the Chiongbian family and FAST management.

“We are grateful to have partnered with the Chiongbian family and management team over the past six years,” Cu said. “FAST Logistics Group has further strengthened its position as one of the Philippines’ leading logistics, distribution, and supply chain platforms through its focus on customers, operational excellence, and long-term investment.”

While the transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals, FAST emphasized that business operations, customer commitments, and management activities will continue uninterrupted as the process moves forward.

With full ownership returning to the founding family, FAST Logistics Group is poised to build on more than five decades of industry experience while pursuing new opportunities in the rapidly evolving logistics landscape.
