Faith in Motion: ORAS NG HIMALA Marks 33 Years of Living Like Jesus

A powerful celebration of faith and service will take center stage this March 2026 as Jesus Is Our Shield Worldwide Ministries (JIOSWM) commemorates the 33rd Living Like Jesus Anniversary of its flagship global ministry program, ORAS NG HIMALA. Anchored on the theme “Christ’s Power in Action,” the milestone gathering highlights more than three decades of spiritual outreach, healing ministry, and compassionate service that have touched countless lives in the Philippines and beyond.

Since its beginnings as a broadcast ministry dedicated to spreading messages of faith and hope, ORAS NG HIMALA has grown into a worldwide movement. Over the past 33 years, the program has reached audiences across television, digital platforms, and international crusades, connecting communities in more than 70 countries. Its expanding network now includes over 500 chapters nationwide, reflecting a ministry that continues to grow while remaining rooted in its mission to inspire believers to live according to Christ’s teachings.

This year’s anniversary celebration will unfold across two major venues in Metro Manila. The first set of gatherings will take place on March 11 and 12 at 1:00 p.m. at the JIOSWM Worship Center along EDSA in Quezon City, welcoming worshippers for a time of praise, reflection, and spiritual renewal. The celebration will culminate in a larger assembly on March 15 at the Marikina Sports Center, where thousands are expected to gather beginning in the afternoon for a grand anniversary event.

Church leaders, pastors, bishops, and believers from various fellowships and denominations are anticipated to attend the celebration in person. Beyond the physical venues, the anniversary will also reach a global audience through live streaming, allowing millions of viewers worldwide to participate in the gathering and share in the moment of faith and unity.

At the heart of the celebration is the theme “Christ’s Power in Action,” a message that emphasizes the continuing relevance of faith in everyday life. The event will feature testimonies from individuals whose lives have been transformed through experiences of physical healing, emotional restoration, spiritual renewal, and personal breakthroughs. Organizers describe the anniversary not simply as a commemoration of years past, but as a renewed call to witness how faith continues to inspire change in the present.

Another major highlight of the celebration is Mission of Love – Love in Action, a humanitarian outreach initiative that reflects the ministry’s commitment to serving communities in practical ways. Through this program, JIOSWM provides assistance such as food and clothing support, medical aid, financial help, educational assistance, and spiritual care to individuals and families in need. The initiative underscores the belief that faith is best expressed not only through prayer and worship, but through compassion and service.

As ORAS NG HIMALA marks 33 years of ministry, the anniversary stands as both a tribute to its journey and a reaffirmation of its mission moving forward. Guided by the message of living like Christ—loving boldly, serving selflessly, and believing steadfastly—the ministry continues to expand its reach, inviting people from all walks of life to experience faith in action. Admission to the anniversary gatherings is free, welcoming all who wish to take part in the celebration.
