Excitement is in the Air as Pokémon Fun Day Arrives at SM Malls

Pokémon enthusiasts are in for a treat as SM Supermalls brings the beloved global media franchise to the Philippines with a supersized event space that will tour various SM malls nationwide.

The fun begins at The Block Atrium in SM North EDSA from January 31 to February 13, where fans of all ages can immerse themselves in all things Pokémon. The Pokémon Fun Day event space is a must-visit, featuring a gigantic six-meter tall Pikachu inflatable that will surely delight fans.

Visitors can also participate in free Pokémon Trading Card Game tutorial sessions, browse through licensed collectibles such as Pokémon toys and apparel, and explore the Pokémon trading cards and video game demo area.

Meeting Pikachu in person and snapping a memorable photo is also a highlight of the event. But that’s not all – the Pokémon Fun Day caravan will visit other SM malls in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Iloilo, and Davao from January to October 2025.

Running enthusiasts can also join the Pokémon Run at the SM Mall of Asia Complex on February 9, 2025, with various race distances to choose from. At the launch event on January 31, key officials from SM Supermalls and The Pokémon Company were present, including SM Supermalls Group Head – Executive Vice President Joaquin L. San Agustin and The Pokémon Company Asia Business Development Corporate Officer Susumu Fukunaga.
